1. We go to virtual private servers (enlace)
Select the plan, depending on your hardware needs.
- Select your billing time (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual).
Contabo charges a setup fee excluding annual billing.
Select the location of the data center, for some regions it may have an additional cost so ideally select Germany and use a CDN such as Cloudflare.
At this point you select the type of storage which can be SSD or NVMe hard disk (4th generation, 10x faster than SSD).
Choose the operating system of the VPS. It has to be related to your objectives, what do you want a VPS for? For example, if you need it for WordPress you can use Ubuntu or CentOS.
The following options are left as default. You do not need to contract SSL because you can get it for free by installing Cyber Panel or using Cloudflare.
